Replace yacht with small dinghy

Aaron said " the boat in VR Regatta 3-4x more enjoyable to sail than the current Cup boat -
it's ACTUAL SAILING and not just steering and moving a button back and forth"

I would say just to make it a separate option/race - in other words have different boat classes and races for each of them. Everyone is happy and theres more substance in the game, cant complain about that! ;)

I agree with Mike. We need both and I really enjoy the feel of the bigger boats I used to race in my youth. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH MIKE. SAILING WITH THE BIG BOAT IS ESSENTIAL, AND i FEEL THAT I AM GOING TO BE ROBBED OF A BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE.

NO NO DEFINATELY NO

A’ Crie de Coeur’,do not do this! If you want a good handicap laser race copy it into Regatta with laser boat code and have it as a new race and a Regatta upgrade I will try to explain why I feel so strongly and apologies to Aaron if it all sounds a bit personal but. Aaron is already the guy to beat and the fastest sailor in Regatta by a long way. He is relatively young and fit and has a talent for dinghy sailing.(at least in VR) .The other regular sailors are some way behind and if we win occasionally it is because Aaron hasn’t raced So ,no one so far has been able to beat Aaron in a dinghy in Regatta and a handicap race might just even out the physical disadvantages and at least make it harder for Aaron to win,

The boat in Marine Verse Cup, on the other hand doesn't require the same level of physical ability and there’s no contortions to try to keep that boat flat. Disabled people could compete on even terms but it would require them to aquire some sailing knowledge and make constant adjustment of sails to win. In this environment Aaron doesn’t always win (most times but not always) I think MVC in the current boat is as exciting as the lasers and pitting yourself against the ghosts can teach you a lot. It and can be played by us old and infirm guys on more level terms by using brains to work out the best course rather than brawn. I am a very late convert to this big boat sailing -. I love it- please do not take it away
Apologies to all for such a long winded comment

Greg Dziemidowicz: Yes and speed penalties for tipping too much but that means Gus need to be gentler and broader if there was a second level of wind on the lake that was just half of a gust or something ... a puff. basically more wind variety and dynamics

Aaron Sawyer: thanks for clarification. Potentially we can make "yacht" more competitive - "replace" keel with dagerboard and make it capable of a capsize.

Mike Hoare: I absolutely see value in the yacht. I would just like it to be a sailboat that is capable of having too much wind. sale adjustments should be dynamic like you see people doing on America's Cup constantly adjusting when the wind is greater more lightens up. or steering with boat course corrections. basically I want to make it harder. :-) in a more immersive realistic way
