Perché MarineVerse?
I grew up on a boat (live-aboard) in California and Hawaii. I now live in Canada where our sailing season is SO SHORT. Sailing in VR is a way for me to stay connected to my happy place! :-)
Esperienza velica:
I grew up on and around sailboats - we were live-aboards for over 12 years. Our first boat was a 50-foot custom wood sloop. We tried Catalina 25 next (too small) and finally an O'Day 37 (just right!). Our home marina was Harbour Island Marina in San Diego, then my father single-handed to Honolulu when I was 11 years old. We moored in the transient slips at Ala Wai Marina for a few years, then moved to Keehi Marina. We left the sailing life moved ashore when I was in my late teens.
