Why MarineVerse?
Aerodynamics (I fly), I'm a marine scientist, not caring about fuel is the only way to feel free on the water, VR is for a little virtual enjoyment when (often) I don't have the people to enjoy sailing with. I'm not (at all) interested in regatas and other races. I like cruising, sailing is a way to get from hither and yon while enjoying the journey.
Sailing experience:
Novice of several years. Substantial small motorboat handling in marine coastal environments, some larger shipboard operations, a little helmsmanship and crewing on a tallship, but sailing is a skill I'm constantly working on in alpine lakes where the winds are squirrely and rarely consistent.
