▶How can my sailing club use VR sailing?
Two simple steps:

Step 1: Create a Group. Anyone at your club can create a MarineVerse Group in 30 seconds. This gives your club a dedicated page, club leaderboards, and a discount code for members.

Step 2: Get Verified. Contact us to verify your club and unlock additional benefits like bulk pricing, engagement analytics, and priority access to new features.

Optional: VR Corner. For clubs with a tech champion, set up 1-2 headsets at the clubhouse for member use during open days or rainy weather.

Running guided demos or school sessions? See MarineVerse for Teams for the event-optimized version built for facilitator-led and multi-headset experiences.
▶What's the simplest way to get started?
Start with a Group. Search for your club, or create it in 30 seconds if it doesn't exist. Then share the group page link in your newsletter. Members who already use MarineVerse will find you, and curious members can discover VR sailing.
▶Do we need to buy VR headsets?
No! The easiest approach is to let members use their own headsets at home. Many sailors already have Meta Quest headsets. Your club can simply promote MarineVerse as a member benefit and let individuals decide if they want to try VR.
▶We're a volunteer-run club. Is this too much work?
Not at all. Creating a Group takes 30 seconds. Share the link in your newsletter or on your notice board. You don't need to become VR experts — let interested members champion it from there.
▶What if we want to run guided demos or school sessions at the club?

▶What are MarineVerse Groups?
Groups let your club members find each other on MarineVerse. Once your club has a group, members can join it, see who else from the club is sailing VR, and compete on club-specific leaderboards. Learn more about Groups.
▶Who can create a group for our club?
Anyone! You don't need to be the commodore. If you sail at the club and want to represent it on MarineVerse, go ahead and create the group. Think of it as being your club's VR sailing champion.
▶What does a group admin get?
A dedicated club page, a shareable link, club leaderboards, and discount codes to offer members a deal on MarineVerse Club Membership (Sailing Pass). Groups with engaged members get priority access to new features like custom VR locations.
