MarineVerse Globe は現在、MarineVerse Sailing Club アプリの一部としてご利用いただけます。

穏やかな海から手ごわい嵐まで、刻々と変化するコンディションの中をセーリングし、息をのむような日の出、日の入り、満天の星空を目の当たりにしましょう。月明かりと星空の下での夜間セーリングでは、リアルな照明と大気の効果が、静かな孤独や夜の航海のスリルへとあなたを引き込みます。

実際にセーリングしていないときでも、あなたのボートはリアルタイムで海を渡り、自律的に航海を続けます。いつでもチェックインして、進捗状況や天候の更新、ボートが環境にどう適応しているかを確認できます。

例えば、オーストラリアからアメリカまでのセーリングは、現実と同じように数週間、あるいは数か月かかります。これにより、旅に本物のスケール感と冒険が加わります。

現在のベータ版の状態:

リアルタイムで変化する天候データ、基本的な陸地や地形の輪郭、夜間の航行灯とともに地球を航海し、セーリング中には他のボートも見ることができます。訪問できる港もあります(現在は訪問の記録のみで、港は地図上のシンプルなピンとして表示されます)。長距離のオフショアレースもあり、一覧は次でご覧いただけます: Globe レース.

システム要件

Meta Quest 3 または Meta Quest 3S、もしくは SteamVR 版が必要です。Quest 2 には対応していません。

クレジット表記

  • Globe マップに表示される地図は、Leaflet と OpenStreetMap のデータを使用しています。
  • MarineVerse Globe で使用されている海岸線の境界データは、OpenStreetMap のデータに基づいています。
  • MarineVerse Globe で使用されている航路標識のデータは、OpenStreetMap のデータに基づいています。
  • 天候データは、Open-Meteo が提供するデータに基づいており、CC BY 4.0 ライセンスのもとで利用しています。

MarineVerse Globe は実際の航海には使用できません。 当社のデータは公開された情報源に基づいていますが正確ではなく、航海に使用することは危険であり、当社の利用規約に違反します。実際の航行には必ず公式の海図をご使用ください。

▶How do I join the Globe Beta?
MarineVerse Club Members (Sailing Pass holders) can create a boat on the My Globe Boats page or in the app (Main Menu → Free Sail → Cruising Yacht → Globe, scroll down → Create boat). If you don't have a Club Membership, you can join here. If you want to help with Globe Beta testing, you can also apply to be a Beta tester on MarineVerse Discord.
▶What makes MarineVerse Globe special?
While there are mobile games for offshore sailing, what makes Globe unique is immersive virtual reality.
It's hard to explain if you haven't tried virtual reality, but here's an attempt: it's like seeing ocean waves in real life versus in a photo—photos always make waves look flat and small. In VR, the waves look big and three-dimensional. You can sit in the cockpit, listen to the boat sounds, watch the ocean swells, and feel like you're really out there. VR offers a level of immersion that flat screens simply can't match.

In MarineVerse Sailing Club: Main Menu → Free Sail → Cruising Yacht → Globe (scroll down if needed).
▶What devices are supported?
Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S, or SteamVR. Quest 1 and Quest 2 are not supported due to performance demands.
▶Do I need to be an experienced sailor?
No. If you're new to sailing, you can still enjoy Globe at your own pace. Start with short day-sails between nearby ports and use Globe as a way to learn basic concepts like wind angle, sail trim, and passage planning. If you're already an experienced sailor, Globe gives you a way to practice real-world style cruising and offshore planning in VR.
▶Can I change my starting location?
Yes, if you have a Sailing Pass. Sail to the nearest port, then go to your boat details page and use the teleport feature to move your boat to a different port.
▶Where do I start? What should I do first?
It's up to you!
If you're looking for inspiration, set a simple passage goal. Use the Globe Map to find a port near you and sail there. When you arrive, your arrival will be registered as a "Port Call".

Your next goal could be sailing to another port—a direct trip between 2 ports is called a Passage, and we track those for you. For passages between ports, we have leaderboards—if you're competitive, try to set a Globe Record for the best passage time (like Sydney to Hobart). Each port combination is a valid passage with a leaderboard. We've also designated some popular routes as Time Trials.

In general, treat Globe like real cruising practice: check weather forecasts, review navigation charts for hazards, plan your passage, think about safety and provisions. Whether sailing solo or with others, Globe is a great way to exercise your passage-making skills.
