Wing on wing
Running dead downwind, a common sail configuration is 'wing on wing' with jib and main on opposite sides. Even sometimes on broad reaches like 150degrees. I have not figured out if this is possible, how to pull the main over to the opposite side of the jib.
It is now possible to try this in "Pro simulation mode" in Free Sail - Yacht - Sydney
We call it "goosewinging"
Came here looking for an answer if this was possible....4 years later, I know. Doesn't make sense on the yacht because of the spinnaker, but would be cool to be able to do it on the cruising yacht! Especially since the mainsheet is right in front of the helm.
